Interviewer instructions
This question aims to determine whether the child was given an antibiotic for the illness. More than one medicine may have been administered to the child. Circle the codes corresponding to all medicines given.
Use below codes:
'A' - Antibiotic
'P' - Paracetamol, panadol, acetaminophen
'Q' - Aspirin
'R' - Ibupropfen
'X' - Other medicine
'Z' - DK

Children aged 0-4 years and who had an illness with a cough at any time in the last 2 weeks and breathed faster than usual with short, quick breaths or have difficulty breathing and the breathing problem is in chest or both in chest and blocked nose and whose mothers or caretakers didn't seek a treatment for the illness outside the home and who were given medicine to treat the illness
